DAWN Investigates Feminist Challenges in a Digital World

In March 2022, Channel partner DAWN released the year’s first “DAWN Informs,” a periodical publication highlighting the organization’s latest analyses, critiques, and commentaries. Titled “Feminist Challenges in a Digital World,” this compilation of articles by feminist authors across the Global South investigates the challenges of a digitally mediated world during the COVID-19 pandemic. More specifically, this compilation deals with the impacts of digitalization on women’s livelihoods and rights in developing countries.

The featured authors presented questions about digital security, data sovereignty, data privacy and protection. Through these reflections, this edition of “DAWN Informs” opened up new pathways for imagining a feminist future in the world of digital justice.
