SUMMARY:Indigenous Women Funders Working Group
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, March 14th\, 2018 Channel grantee partner\, International Funders for Indigenous Peoples (IFIP) hosted an Indigenous Women’s Funders Working Group (for funders only) that engaged in peer learning\, promoted awareness of key issue and planned a path to improve coordination among funders. The Working Group explored and determined strategies for advancing Indigenous Women’s rights\, discovered what funding initiatives are thriving\, and leveraged the opportunities for cross-sector collaboration. \nThe funders’ working group endeavors to cultivate direct partnerships among indigenous women\, funds\, donors and allies that respect Indigenous Peoples cosmovision and support Indigenous Women’s empowerment to uphold their individual and collective rights.
