On May 28th, Channel grantee MIUSA will host the Gender, Disability and Development Institute in Sri Lanka. During the event, global leaders will engage in dialogue about including women and girls with disabilities in development and humanitarian projects around the world. The event will bring together senior-level development and human rights professionals with women leaders with disabilities from China, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The Institute includes a full day of workshops with a special evening reception event featuring MIUSA’s Brilliant & Resilient photo exhibition.
