Channel Foundation, in collaboration with inroads and Fòs Feminista, co-hosted Learnings from Abortion Justice in Crisis and Authoritarian Contexts, a Discovery Journey session at the Human Rights Funders Network Funding Futures Festival 2024 on April 26, 2024.
The session was part of the Human Rights Funders Global Conference that took place from April 24 until April 26 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The session hosted Medea Khmelidze, from Georgia, Krystyna Kacpura, from Poland, and Hilal Gençay, from Turkey to discuss supporting reproductive rights activism within complex contexts.
It explored the connection between “bodily autonomy, equality, and citizenship, centering experiences from front-line reproductive justice groups worldwide” and engaging with what funders can learn from these movements.
