Background & Goals: Fekadu Aga Bulti pursued his degree with a goal of developing community home-based care programs for people living with HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia, and incorporating the concepts of long-term care for chronic illness and home-based care for acute infectious diseases in the curriculum of nurse training.
Post-Degree Projects: Bulti was awarded his MSc in Nursing Science from the University of Kuopio in Finland in June 2006. His graduate research focused on the area of family caregiving within the context of HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia. Following his degree, Bulti returned to Ethiopia and has been teaching at the School of Nursing, Addis Ababa University.
